The culinary offerings here are a carnivore’s dream brought vividly to life. The Porterhouse Steak for Two is undoubtedly the crown jewel—generously portioned, expertly seasoned, and grilled to perfection. Diners have praised its tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture which requires no embellishment, though the house steak sauce is available for those who appreciate a flavorful twist. Alongside this, the Cajun Rib Eye has emerged as a fiery favorite, delivering a bold punch with just the right balance of spices, paired beautifully with perfectly creamed spinach that complements without overwhelming. Other standout steaks like the Filet Mignon Gorgonzola cater to those seeking rich, creamy indulgence alongside their prime cuts.
For starters, Bryant & Cooper elevates classic appetizers with offerings like succulent Shrimp Cocktail, sweet and tender Lobster Cocktail, and impeccably fresh Tuna Tartare. Guests consistently rave about the Baked Clams and Clams Casino, which combine crisp textures and briny flavors that awaken the palate.
The sides served here are as thoughtfully prepared as the entrees. Options such as Lyonnaise Potatoes, buttery Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and perfectly caramelized Brussels Sprouts round out the meal with layers of comforting, familiar flavors. For a touch of freshness, the Buffalo Mozzarella Caprese Salad and Caesar Salad provide crisp, bright contrasts to the richness of the meat.
Don’t miss the chance to indulge your sweet tooth with classic desserts like Pecan Pie, tangy Key Lime Pie, and the decadently smooth Chocolate Mousse Cake. Each dessert offers a sweet, satisfying conclusion to an already memorable dining experience.
While Bryant & Cooper is known for its premium quality—reflected also in a somewhat elevated price point—patrons appreciate the generous portions and consistent attention to detail. The wine list, though on the pricier side, perfectly complements the robust flavors featured on the menu.
Customer feedback highlights the reliable excellence of Bryant & Cooper’s steaks and the warm, attentive service that ensures every visit feels special. A few have noted minor inconsistencies with side dish delivery, but these moments are rare in an otherwise polished dining environment. Whether you’re returning annually for a holiday tradition or discovering Bryant & Cooper for the first time, the blend of classic steakhouse charm and expertly crafted cuisine is sure to impress.
For a quintessential steakhouse experience in the Roslyn area, Bryant & Cooper remains a standout destination that invites you to savor the finest cuts, indulge in hearty sides, and enjoy desserts that linger long after the last bite.

Cajun ribeye is the star of the show here! Cream spinach was perfect for me because im not to fond of tons of cheese. The chicken parm was tasty but I dont like when the breading separates from the chicken so id probably not order it again. If it wasnt for that it was a 10/10 meal.
Delicious delicious delicious! For apps I got the tomato & onion and baked clams. The baked clams were a hit! We all loved them. I would say the wine selection is a little pricey, but the cab we chose was perfect. For entrees we split a porterhouse for 2, linguine and clams, and the crab stuffed shrimp. The steak was 10/10! The linguine and clams was absolutely delicious, and the crabmeat stuffed shrimp were huge! We enjoyed our meal very much, and ended with pecan pie, key lime pie, and cheesecake. I didn’t try the pecan pie or cheesecake, but I was totally obsessed with the key lime pie!!! The only downside was the service.. I was a bit annoyed we were seated and haven’t been given water for quite some time meanwhile a table that got seated next to us had their water poured immediately… and even though we sat right next to the table, once they were done pouring the water in their cups, they still didn’t pour ours so I had to ask. We also never got our water refilled once, whereas the other table did. Would definitely come back again for the food!
We had 2 Porterhouses for 4 as we were a party of 8. Ordered medium rare and they were perfect. Seasoned well, tender melt in your mouth. Their house steak sauce is also very good but you didn’t need it and the natural flavor was great. For sides we tried string beans, creamed spinach, and mashed potatoes, all were delicious. Oh, I forgot about the appetizers! Baked clams, clams casino, shrimp cocktail (4 shrimp, they were huge), mozzarella and tomato, and burrata was a special. All were very good.
Solid place, attentive service but big price tag. Some little detail often gets missed like a side dish or extra olives for a martini. Huge portions and very tasty food overall. We come every year for the holidays
We had a very nice family dinner at Bryant & Cooper to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant is a typical old style steakhouse and gets a very nice crowd ( can be very crowded) on the weekends. The service is very attentive and professional. The food is very good but sometimes missed the spot and it’s overpriced like many restaurants. The fillet mignon is a good choice. The porterhouse steak was good but not great at $300 for 4 people. The Lemon Sole was very fresh and the Lemon Pepper Chicken excellent. The salads are good to share with others. The sides are hit and miss but the fries and cottage fries could be improved. Chicken fingers for kids came out burnt and not suitable for eating. Deserts are large and tasty. You will definitely spend $100 per person.
